Bryan, Garnier & Co, expands in growth capital direct investments, and completes the acquisition of Occam Capital.Paris, 22 June, 2009 Bryan Garnier & Co. ("BG"), the leading European growth investment banking partnership, today announced the launch of a Growth Capital direct investment group, Bryan Garnier Principal Investments ("BGPI"). The group has now completed the acquisition of Occam Capital SAS, a growth capital investor focusing on growth technology companies, founded by Marc Goldberg in 2004, and will manage the Occam I FCPR raised by Occam Capital in 2007. Marc Goldberg, who has been active in the private equity and technology operation for the past 20 years, previously as a General Partner of RVC (Reuters Venture Capital), remains part of the investment team as a Managing Director. He will be joining BG Principal Investments' board of directors, along with two other veterans of the technology growth capital, Greg Revenu, co-founder of Bryan Garnier & Co and former head of investment banking, and Humphrey Nokes, the founder and chairman of the investment committee of ETV Capital, one of Europe's leading venture lenders. BGPI will invest in companies within Bryan, Garnier & Co's focus sectors, that are believed to have attractive business fundamentals, proven operating teams, a compelling business strategy or vision, and which are believed to have the potential to be long-term leaders in their markets.
